What a lovely way to start off the school year with parents, teachers and children coming together for the annual OLMC Welcome Picnic on Friday 15th February
It was a pleasure to spend time with families and have the chance to catch up for a chat over a delicious meal.
Thank you to the Parent and Friends Association for coordinating this event and all the parents who helped make it such a success.

Our little learners jumped right into the fun, and our parents were also treated to a wonderful session focused on building resilience and wellbeing strategies to support their Kindy student as they begin their big school journey.

As October, the Month of the Rosary, comes to a close, our Spirit Squad has been busy interviewing students from Kindergarten to Year 6 about what the Rosary means to them 💙 From finding peace in prayer to feeling close to Mary and Jesus, our students shared heartfelt reflections that remind us how prayer takes many forms. Through our daily decade of the Rosary and the Family Rosary Bags, our community has taken time this month to pause, reflect and pray together, growing in faith and love. Our Spirit Squad members also found this time meaningful and insightful. Lawrence shared that he was inspired by all the students' answers and, as the photographer, he was surprised by how eager they were for photos and to be interviewed. Kristopher shared that he was inspired by how open all students were to speak about their faith and experience. Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Students enrolling in Year 7 from 2026 are eligible to apply for the scholarship, which reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to excellence in learning within a supportive Catholic community.
